Climbing

Rock climbing: body expression, quality of technical movement, and a sense of freedom detached from summit anxiety. Focusing on the route of a climb, on the shapes of the walls, and on different types of rock that require various climbing techniques... this is climbing. Sport climbing, when mainly related to physical performance and the emphasis on the route of a single pitch, or alpine climbing on long routes and big walls. The distinction between the different approaches and styles of climbing is rather elusive and gives rise to endless discussions among "bands" of climbers...

The Ligurian limestone by definition: in Western Liguria there are almost 10,000 rope lengths available for all tastes and levels: from 3C to 9A. FINALE: it is one of the European sanctuaries of climbing; the hinterland of Albenga VALLE PENNAVAIRE has been the new future for over fifteen years with demanding and modern climbing. And also, TOIRANO, CORTE and Valle Argentina up to the nearby French Riviera starting from the beautiful cliffs of MONTECARLO, PEILLON, LE PALAIS. In short, a paradise for sport climbing.

Formulas: Accompanied Climbing Day (from 1 to 6 people), Course, Mini-course - Starting from 270 euros for a full day or 180 euros for half a day.

MULTI-PITCH ROUTES, what a passion...

Are the routes on the crag no longer high enough? Do you want to broaden your horizons on a bigger wall? Do you want to embark on small vertical journeys? This course will give you the necessary experience and the safety guarantee you are looking for. The specific techniques will first be learned and deepened on the crag, and then applied to multi-pitch routes. Sport climbing on very high walls, both in the valley and at altitude, is a recent evolution of climbing at the border of mountaineering.

Where? FINALE L., MUZZERONE (Portovenere - SP), PREALPI LARIANE (LC). Val d'Aveto (GE), Alpi Apuane, Pietra di Bismantova (RE).... we have many proposals suitable for all seasons and all abilities. In the "courses and stages" section you will also find the training programs: multi-pitch 1 (sport terrain), multi-pitch 2 (adventure terrain) in the autumn and spring editions.

TRAD CLIMBING - GRANITE

The secrets of trad - crack climbing...

... with few or no fixed protections. Trad climbing is a world apart and can have different nuances; from totally "clean" routes, that is, without any fixed protection, to modern mixed routes (in the style of Piola and Motto in the Western Alps) where pitons and bolts are limited to slabs and belays, while on crack sections you have to place your own protection. An introductory course to start with this fascinating type of climbing.
