Canyoning

A bit of caving, a bit of climbing, a bit of swimming, canyoning or torrentism consists of descending streams that flow through rocky channels. Therefore, you descend on foot. The only concession is the use of ropes, which are used to rappel down the vertical sections of the channels or to cross particularly exposed points. Besides these technical sections, you progress with jumps and long swims, with a playful dimension that should not, however, make you underestimate the complexity of the environment you are traversing. Born as a branch of caving, today it is an activity at the crossroads between the latter and whitewater sports.

Liguria - Nervia Valley (Ligurian Alps)

Now a legendary Ligurian canyon... very popular with neighboring French visitors, it is the very essence of fun canyoning. Easy but never too simple, rappels and jumps follow one another in a deep alpine gorge carved into limestone. The silent medieval village of Rocchetta Nervina is the starting point for the excursion, which begins with an approach along an ancient pastoral path that reaches the Akta Via dei Monti Liguri.
